Silverstone trackday
After our longest holiday ever, we got back in time for me to re-sync and get ready for the Club’s Silverstone trackday. As I finalise this column, I have just returned from Silverstone and have mixed feelings about the day. There were a lot of race cars in attendance and, whilst most behaved themselves, there were numerous cases of undertaking on the right, swarming slower cars, overtaking going into bends and darting about changing direction to get ahead – all OK for a real race but all banned on a trackday.
