Travel plans thwarted
As I mentioned in the last GT3 Register column, I had hoped to attend the Goodwood Members meeting and the RMA Spa double, both in May. Alas, like so many things, both have been kicked into the long grass – that is the trouble with optimism, sometimes the worst case actually becomes reality. Oh well.

We had planned to be in Italy for Easter, and that clearly is not going to happen. Incidentally, the lake where we have our place had an amber warning tsunami alert – I kid you not. A chunk of a mountain had started to slide faster than normal giving the real risk of two million cubic metres of rock hitting the lake. At the point of writing, it has slowed its creep to more normal levels but is yet another reminder of the uncertainties that seem to plague us at the moment. Definitely a time for a ‘chin up’ and ‘don’t panic’ attitude!
