Members of our Register were delighted to be invited by Peter and Lesley Webb from 991 Register to join in with their Summer BBQ at their delightful restored manor house in a picturesque rural village setting not too far from Swindon.
It was a popular event, so much so we had to restrict numbers due to limited parking space at the venue, so unfortunately some members on the reserve list were to be disappointed. Nevertheless there was a great array of Porsches of many differing models, all parked up on the lawn and entrance drive and didn't they provide a wondrous spectacle?
Peter had laid on a marquee in the grounds, just to be on the safe side to guard against poor weather, but it turned out to be a gloriously hot summer's afternoon and we were able to bask in the warm summer sunshine, enjoy each others' company and take full advantage of the wonderful spread our hosts had laid on. 
There's no doubt Peter and Lesley and their family had all worked extremely hard to put on this event and were rewarded with everyone agreeing it had been a great success and they received the plaudits of all who had attended.
