Hello, did you get the toys you wanted for your car? I hope so and hope you will enjoy your Early 911 cars this year, as Porsche and we celebrate 60 years since the model was introduced, albeit as the 901.
I was interested to read in December’s PP the archive article of D W Sutherland’s trials and comments of driving his very early 911S, all 90,000 miles of it. I must say that in nearly 300k miles of driving my 1973 911S I’ve never had as many problems as he experienced. Perhaps another six years of development made by the engineers at Porsche made an enormous difference to many of the issues.
