Looking ahead to better times
2020 has not been a good year for the models of the Porsche 911 built between 1965 and 1973 nor for their owners - the cars being locked away in their garages and the owners locked away in their houses. We hope that at sometime in the future we will be able to drive them to a PCGB event that will be celebrating the Club’s 60thAnniversary. We owners know that our cars were the second model in the Porsche range after the 356 and first to carry the iconic 911 model number. Before the 911 there were no model Registers in the Club. When the 911 began to be part of the Club, the Club Management Committee then started the separation of the different models, by introducing Registers - one for the 356 and one for the 911. Now there are 35 model Registers - who’d have thought it all those years ago!
