Welcome to the 964RS Register
Probably the rawest, most exciting driving experience since the iconic 2.7RS, the 1992 964RS has reached iconic status in its own right. Uncompromising on the road, the cars come into their own on the racetrack. With many members still actively tracking their pride and joys, you have joined an active, track focused Register. Indeed, the Register secretary, Melvin Spear, has owned his 1991 964 Carrera Cup car since 2000 and clocks up some 1000 miles a year solely on track days and hillclimbs and sprints, featuring in the P1 class of the Porsche Club GB Speed Championship.
One annual feature of the Register is a Porsche only trackday held at Oulton Park in March. This has become the main event for 964RS and other Porsche owners to blow out the winter cobwebs both on track and at the pre and apres event dinners. We also try to make Spa an annual pilgrimage through a recognised UK trackday club.
As well as being socially active, the Register provides valuable technical support and helpful advice for owners.
