Many 914 owners have been busy getting their 914 ready for this year's use. Ben Nicholas has been busy sorting the braking system - new master cylinder, changing the seals on a caliper, replacing the brake hoses, brake lines and fitting new pads. David Kelleher is having the leather-covered steering wheel recovered on his orange GT tribute, as it has become quite tatty, and is also sorting a running issue on the yellow 1.8. Bruce Manning has had the gearbox rebuilt on his 1.7. He found it was getting harder to select the lower gears without crashing them due to worn synchromesh rings.
