While visiting Porsche Centre Coventry back in 2009, PCGB member Adrian noticed a lovely 1978 911 SC in the showroom and commented in passing, “Nice respray”.
What he was not prepared for was the reply he got from the salesperson, “It isn’t a respray, the car has done 3106 miles from new’’. Yes, you read it correctly, and it’s not a typo. A deal was done there and then!
