Writing a report regarding a road trip to Europe seems small fry compared to the current world events. Like many others we’d cancelled our proposed holiday, ours to the south of France and Austria. With lockdown easing, we decided on a shorter journey to Baden Baden, an affluent spa town on the northern edge of the Black Forest. Having used this route before, we were comfortable with the travel arrangements and accommodation.
