In 2020 the 993 register started a Baton Challenge to take it on a grand tour of the UK. The challenge halted in the South West late in 2020 and it rested with member Geoff Crawford. As it was damaged Geoff decided to commission a new "baton" crafted from two Porsche pistons and then to continue the baton challenge in or around April 2021. The idea is that it is passed from one 993 owner to the next as it makes it's way down to Land's End and back up the Region where it will pass on to the next Region and so on until it has been to John 'O Groats and back again to Lands End. We want to involve as many 993 owners as possible in out Region so watch out for news on this as the time approaches.
