With spring almost here, here is a list of our scheduled events.
First, please note our regular, monthly R31 events on the first Sunday of the month for early drives and breakfasts and, on the second Tuesday of the month our ‘Drive to Survive – Road Trips to Lunch’ events. The first of these activities are detailed here:
6 March Breakfast Run to Cars and Coffee
An early drive followed by breakfast at the Cotswolds Food Store and Cafe. Join the drive, the breakfast or both. Subsequent first Sundays of the month may follow different routes and venues – check with me for details. #getupanddrive
8 March Drive to Survive - Road Trip to Lunch
Each second Tuesday means a short road trip. We’ve previously visited Shropshire, the Cheddar Gorge, Wiltshire, and Wales. The only criteria are good roads, scenery, and a decent lunch. Check with me for details.
30 March Porsches to the Club
Winters End. Evening meeting at the Cotswold Hotel and Spa, Chipping Norton.
11-12 April Spring Road Trip to Wales
Leaving Sunday morning and with a night in Llandrindod - two days to explore Wales’s finest roads. This takes the place of our normal Tuesday ‘Drive to Survive - Road Trip to Lunch.
23 April 23 The Avro Vulcan Bomber ‘XM655’
A private viewing of this wonderful aircraft at Wellesbourne Airfield.
27 April The Rites of Spring - an early evening drive
Celebrate longer nights with a long drive to a Cotswolds Inn. Starting centrally at 5.30pm and converging 90 minutes later at the Seven Tuns in the stunning Coln Valley.
13-17 May Road Trip to the Yorkshire Dales
The Yorke Arms Hotel in Nidderdale is a perfect base for four days of superb driving, scenery, and Yorkshire hospitality.
25 May Porsches to the Pub
A drive, a drink, a chat, and a bite.
5 June Simply Porsche at Beaulieu
Drive to a festival of Porsches at Beaulieu in the New Forest. Home of the National Motor Museum, a palace, wonderful gardens and much more.
8-15 June Road Trip to Champagne and Burgundy
Lovely roads, food, and the odd glass of wine.
18 June Porsches at Prescott
Prescott Hill Climb is on our doorstep. This a competitive event that includes many Porsches. Join us to watch.
29 June Porsches to the Pub
Monthly evening drive and meeting.
18 July Caffeine&Machine - A Summer Party
R31’s Club night at Caffeine&Machine. Last year, we had 90 Porsches. Tickets are £10 per car including a £5 voucher for food and drink. We will, of course, be going in convoy.
31 July The Cotswolds Rally
Always popular, this year will be different but special.
31 August and 4 September

17-21 September Road Trip to the Scottish Highlands
Staying at the stunning and luxurious Laudale Estate on the Western Highland Coast, this will be a carefully curated trip to ensure we see the best of the famed Scottish roads.
