Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm Museum

Stand at ease and gather round. Here’s your chance to pay tribute to some of the most outstanding aircraft this country has ever produced. But it’s not just your common or garden Blackburn Buccaneer or Fairey Swordfish that’ll make you marvel. You can eye the competition in the shape of a Mig 15 or the indomitable McDonnell Phantom. When they throw in a de Havilland Vampire for good measure you willfind it difficult to leave.

Unfortunately, the Club is limited to just 20 cars. For security reasons ID will be required, given that Yeovilton is an operational base for the RAF.

Photography is not only permitted but actively encouraged, be it via smartphone or SLR camera.

Muster stations at 9.30am is the order of the day, so factor in an early start for those of you that have a distance to travel.  We need to arrive en masse so that security checks and roll-call can be done in one go. The Club will be there ‘til around 12 noon but you can linger up to closing time at 4.30pm. As ever, quick ‘fingers on the button’ ladies and gentlemen or you’ll be disappointed.

We will arrange a meeting point close to Yeovilton for the obligatory coffee and loo break.
