We thought we should go for something quintessentially British with the Platinum Jubilee and all that, it just seemed appropriate.
So folks, make a place in your diary to saddle-up your favourite ride and canter along to the Royal County of Berkshire Polo Club (RCBPC) for R19’s very own Polo Festival on Sunday 14 August from 10am till late. Whilst you’re unlikely to be involved in a chukka or two, there’ll be a vast range of compensatory activities, displays and stalls to suit all tastes and ages. It’s a proper family day out.
You want a bouncy castle for the kids? You want to watch chaps in jodhpurs hitting a small ball with a long stick, sipping champagne? We’ve got that covered. You want delicious grub from posh to plain nosh, live music, go-karting, DJs, competitive games, arts and crafts stalls aplenty or just the space to spread out a blanket to watch the world go by? Well, it’s all there.
