Everyone will know Tim for his success in BTCC in the 80's and 90's when the racing was really close and hard faught and for winning the Championship in 1992
Having conquered BTCC in 2002 Tim moved into the Porsche Carrera Cup GB series, starting with guest drives in 2003, including one victory, he competed full-time in the series from 2004 and finished in the top four of the Championship in each season for the seven full seasons of competition, no mean feat.
Tim has also competed in the Le Mans 24 Hours, the World Sportscar Championship, BRDC C2 Championship - winning in 1988 and 1999, British Sports Car Championship - winning in 1999, a double winner of the Oulton Park Gold Cup and also winner of the Macau Grand Prix street race in 1989.
