We'll lunch at 1.00pm at 'The Fox Goes Free' in Charton, just before Goodwood, overlooking Levin Down.
The current plan is to meet at Devil's Punchbowl Café (from about 10.30 onwards), Hindhead to leave at 11.30ish and cruise down to Charton in time to have a pre-dinner drink and then lunch.
After lunch, and more importantly before anyone adds coffee or tea to the proceedings, we then go for another short drive through East Dean and the back roads to Goodwood before making our way to the Motor Racing Circuit for tea and coffee in The Old Control Tower Cafe. It just so happens that the Vintage Sports Car Club will be on track so it gives another reason for going. It will be like Brooklands on steroids!
The pub will send us a menu nearer the time and we will need to pre-order and add 10% to each of our orders for their service charge and then pay on the day. However, everybody that wishes to confirm their booking will need to let Mike have a non refundable £5 deposit per person NO LATER than October Club Night which will go towards their bill.
