Getting ready to meet your Club friends

Latest news from your London Region

We hope you and your families are safe and well, and for those that have endured longer than normal hair, you can now see your ears!

So, what is new in your region? Since late last month we can now officially organise drives. Club guidelines have been issued to keep everyone safe. Please be aware that our drives will follow government guidance for groups. For those that got smart and signed up during lockdown we will be contacting you with some options. For those keen to take part please be patient.

Our meets, we have spoken to Ace Café who reopened for business earlier this month, initially daytime only and not for meets. At time of writing they are expecting further guidance about group events. We are hopeful that by the time you read this all will be clear, and that we can restart Porsche Night at Ace Café.

Lastly, Forman’s, our host for ‘Out East’. At present the restaurant remains closed as their core business is centred around food production. However, we hopeful that they will be able to open the deli and perhaps an outdoor seating area for a mid-August meet assuming Boris has relaxed the rules.

We take the news from our London friends as a cautious but positive step in the right direction to being able to meet you, our Porsche friends. We have included the regular meet details in this report so keep an eye on our social media feeds for news about restarting, or not.

See you out on the road - Nick & Ed
