With the main access road closed to unload a crane, our Smithfield meet turned into an R20 ‘Speakeasy’ where you needed to know the secret route to get to us. Many did and revelled in the post storm breezy sunshine. The evolution of Porsches was on display from a gorgeous 1951 356 split screen coupe to Chris’s new 991 GT3 RS with everything in-between: 912, 3.2 Carrera, 993, a well-loved boxster and a handful of 996 and 997’s. The two GT2s tucked in the line were a sight to see. More colour was added by James’s red 997 turbo, a classic yellow 911 and a metallic blue Targa. a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
