We are pleased to announce that Sue Dennis and Chris Torre have taken over as the R25 Joint Regional Organisers following Pearl and Phil Sharland deciding to step down after 16 years of loyal service.
Many of you will already know Sue who has been a Club member since 2005 and a committee member since 2015, and has a wealth of knowledge of R25 activities and events.
Chris has been a Porsche Club GB member since 2018, joining after he purchased his Cayman R. He joined the R25 committee in late 2019. Prior to retirement in 2008 Chris was Director of Worldwide Real Estate and Facilities for a major pharmaceuticals company. Chris ran his own motorsport preparation company in the mid ‘80s and has a passion for cars and motorsport in general.
Assistant Regional Organisers Mick Dennis and Sue Torre will support the Regional Organisers. Many of you will already know Mick from his tireless efforts in organising R25 events and activities, as well as WOTYs and the very successful breakfast meetings. Sue and Mick have also attended many events in the UK and on the continent, such as other Regional events, factory tours, Porsche parades, R25 holidays and the Savoie Cup, the three-day Porsche gathering in the Haute Savoie region in the French Alps.
Sue Torre was a paralegal before she retired in 2005 and has a huge amount of enthusiasm for motorsport and cars in general.
We all look forward to working with our members and in providing them with new events in the future but most of all the enjoyment of their Porsche. It’s not the miles but the smiles that ownership should generate.
