December Update

Club Nights
Our October Club Night was a quieter affair, as no guest speaker had been arranged, so it was a social evening with a chance to chat to friends and like-minded Porsche enthusiasts.
The forthcoming December Club Night on Tuesday 3rd will combine our traditional Christmas Fun Quiz and the judging of the R21 Photo Competition. All the photos submitted will be shown on the TV screen and members will be asked to vote for their favourites which will determine the winners. The quiz will be a light-hearted affair with each round of questions compiled by a R21 Committee Member. There will be an assortment of rounds that will include general knowledge and motoring related questions. Club Nights are held at The Little Hay Golf Complex HP3 0DT from 7.00pm onwards.
Please note that there will be no Club Night meeting in January.

October Breakfast Meet
The October Breakfast Meet at the Crew Room Denham was the last of 2019 and the weather gods smiled on us. It was a little on the cold side but it was dry and the sun was shining most of the time. This ensured a good turn out of Porsches of all ages including transaxle cars, several Boxsters and Caymans, including a GT4, and numerous 911s. Some brave souls opted to use the outdoor seats for their coffee and breakfast but most retreated to the warmth of the Crew Room café. It was pleasing to meet several new members and we hope to see them at other events in the future.

Porsche Christmas at Bicester Heritage – 8th December
We are planning to organise a drive from the Hemel area to a café for breakfast and then onto the event at Bicester Heritage. At the time of writing details are not available but will be on the R21 page of the website and forum. If you are interested in attending, you will need to register for “The Porsche Christmas” on the PCGB website to ensure admittance at Bicester.

New Year Dinner – Saturday 4th January 2020
There is still just time to get tickets for the R21 2020 New Year Dinner. The evening offers great value with a 3-course meal, half a bottle of wine, festive novelties and a disco in the adjoining room, all for £32 per head. If you are interested please contact Mrs Jo Walker, 16 Ridgeway, Wing, LU7 0TH (01296 688760) as soon as possible.

Future Events
