As the title suggests, this is a drive-out to the northwest of the Region, mainly on decent roads beyond Buckinghamshire. Just over 70 miles, start near Aylesbury and finish near Silverstone, but both yet to be confirmed. The route has been driven a number of times and will take you out into Warwickshire. Porsche friendly roads, flowing bends, good visibility and generally decent surfaces for a change.
I recommend bringing a passenger/navigator with reasonable map reading skills but not vital. I will provide a Google Maps link, so you can interactively have all you need on a mobile phone. The suggested route will however be provided in a variety of formats to suit all abilities.
I would still recommend that you bring along OS 1:50000 Landranger maps 151 and 152 as back up. No tricks, just a bit of fun and definitely not competitive!
