Curry nights
December has been a quieter month for the Club, as many members have their cars tucked up in garages until spring. That didn’t mean that members couldn’t meet up though, so we organised a curry night in Edinburgh and Glasgow.
R1’s Glasgow curry night enjoyed by 26 members
For the Glasgow curry night 26 members met up for a few pre-dinner drinks and then enjoyed a delicious Indian tasting menu at the Dahkin restaurant.
The Edinburgh curry night was held at the Omar Khayyam restaurant, again with members having met up earlier for drinks to start the evening. With only nine in attendance the numbers were disappointingly low, but a couple of new members attended and all had a good night.

I am pleased to confirm that the Motorsport Team have confirmed that Knockhill is back on the calendar for 2023. The date for your diary is 12 July and I would encourage you to book and enjoy this fantastic racetrack. For those who have not been on a trackday before, please come along and experience one of the UK’s best racetracks. This is a great opportunity to see how your car can perform in the safety of a Porsche organised event. Instructors can be booked for a session to show you the correct racing lines and offer general driving advice.
