R1 member, Steve Marsh, would like to invite you to join me on this one day Porsche Festival, celebrating Porsche Motorsport in the grounds of magnificent Stowe House (Stowe, Buckingham, MK18 5EH) located near to Silverstone Race Circuit.
This is the second Rennsport Collective to be held. Last year’s at Donington Hall, where the standard of cars was simply stunning, was the first. The cars were well spaced out and there was a lot of colour coordination going on. Ex Porsche racer/team manager John Fitzpatrick was also in attendance and signing copies of his new book.
The weather last year was great but with some light showers, so fingers crossed for more of the same, even though it’s later in the year. Some warm clothes probably wouldn’t go amiss.
If Porsche racing cars are your thing, or you enjoy a lovely location, this needs to be on your to-do list. It is one event that is not to be missed.

Ticket prices online are adults £25, under 14s go free. Pay on the gate prices will be slightly more. There are two parking options, Porsche ParkPlatz £12 (Porsche only) and general parking £5, again pay on the day will be slightly more due to no online discount.
I plan on a sedate journey down on the Saturday and a late morning departure back for Scotland on the Monday, if anyone interested in travelling down with likeminded PCGB members please let me know. We will be inviting other PCGB Regions to join us on this trip.
I will be staying local at The Paisley Pear, approximately 10 miles away. Rooms are still available at £60 per night. I have no experience of this hotel, as it’s quite new. Also nearby is the Holiday Inn Northampton West, which is handy for the M1 and also close by to Althorp.
