We are pleased to announce that we are running an event on the East Coast to St Andrews followed by dinner at the fabulous Forgan’s St Andrews restaurant. Housed in a former ‘cleek factory’, some of the best golf clubs in the world were once manufactured on this site. The proprietor, Robert Forgan, was one of the most successful and well-liked men in town, and thus this little restaurant and bar was named in honour of a St Andrews hero.
Those of you who wish to make a weekend of it may want to organise an overnight stay at one of the many hotels or guesthouses within the area. If you wish to do so, could I ask you to organise this yourself to save any complications?
THE ROUTE
The run starts at Ferrytoll Park and Ride, Hope Street, Inverkeithing KY11 1LN and goes via Lochgelly, Kinglassie, Kettlebridge to Forgan's St Andrews, 110 Market Street, St Andrews KY16 9PB. The route is just under 40 miles and off the main roads as much as possible.

- Leaving time: 2.15pm
- Arriving in St Andrews: 3.15pm
- Dinner at: 5pm
