Borders Run with Distillery Visit

Meet at Dreghorn services,EH13 9QR at 0915. Leave Dreghorn at 0930 sharp.

 

Head out on the A701 down through Auchendinny, Leadburn and Romano Bridge then across to Peebles  on the A72. Leave Peebles for Cardrona and Innerleithen then down through Selkirk and the A7 into Hawick.

 

Arrive Borders Distillery, Hawick TD9 7AQ for 1100hrs and distillery tour for those who wish (cost is £12/person, pay on the day and includes sampling at the end in the bar / miniature of whisky or gin for the drivers).

Table booked at 12.30  for lunch at Santa Marina Italian restaurant, Hawick which is 5 minutes walking across the river from the Distillery.

 

After lunch around 1400 return across the river to collect cars and head back out of Hawick and run across country to Jedburgh on the A698/B6358 then north to Edinburgh on the A68.
