We will depart the Malletsheugh Inn, Ayr Road, Newton Mearns, Glasgow G77 6RT at 6.30pm sharp on Tuesday 7th June and drive to The Wee Hurry, harbour Road, Troon KA10 6DH, a drive of around 40 minutes.
Route:
Upon leaving the Malletsheugh, take the A77 south to Fenwick then turn left following the signs for M77 south to Ayr.
Stay on the M77 towards Ayr/Prestiwick until you reach the roundabout at Monkton and take the 3rd Exit towards Troon. (The M77 becomes the A77 and there are average speed cameras over the last two miles before the Monkton Roundabout – 50mph)
At the next roundabout take 2nd Exit towards Troon and immediately move to outside lane to turn right on the B749 towards Troon.
Stay on the B749 all the way into Troon passing through one set up lights until you see the boats on the RHS and then turn right and immediately left towards the ferry terminal.
The Wee Hurry is on the RHS near the entrance to the ferry terminal and life boat.
