Porsche In The Glen Sunday 22nd May 2022 12pm - 4pm
Pleae read below the official invitiation for Porsche In The Glen 2022, followed by the R2 planned drive there.
"Your are invited to attend the event at Calderglen Country Park East -Kilbride G75 OQZ .This is the largest Porsche only event in Scotland for the last 8 years and we would like to welcome you back after a 2 year break.
For those who have never attended it is a static display on the lawn for you to display to fellow owners your pride and joy and talk cars. We will have a few trade stands as usual and hope to welcome back Porsche Glasgow who have supported us from day one and will be along with their latest demonstrator.
There is the Courtyard Café where you can purchase food and drink at a discount or bring your own picnic as there are plenty of areas to enjoy in the park. You also get FREE admission to the Zoo and the Conservatory to keep all the family entertained.
We have a Best in Show competition where you (the owners) pick your favorite car and there are many prizes to be won. So please put this in your diary and come along and enjoy the event.
PLEASE try to be in place by 11.30 before the public arrive as it can be busy and for safety reasons don’t want cars driving around and ask you stay till after prize giving. You could be the winner."
R2 Suggested Route.
We are planning an optional drive to the event for R2 members. Meeting at Starbucks, Orchard Bank Forfar (conveniently just off the A90 by MacDonalds), we plan to take the A94 past Glamis towards Coupar Angus, before joining the Old Military Road to Stanley. This allows us to join the A9 and avoids the Perth city centre.
From Perth, it is a straight run down the A9, M80 and M73 to Calderglen. Find the full route here.
In order to arrive in time for the 11.30 set up, we will be leaving Starbucks at 9.15am sharp! Please arrive earlier if you would like to grab a coffee.
