Seasons Greetings!!!
It's never too early to start thinking about Christmas! That's why we've been planning this event since August...
With the loss of our usual Christmas Lunch venue, The Strathmore Arms in Glamis, and the struggles we have all faced over the past 2 years meaning we haven't been able to gather the R2 family at Christmas, we were on the look out for a new and exciting opportunity for Region 2's Christmas 2022.
We are delighted to be partnering with R2's northern home, The Maryculter House Hotel to bring you a fantastically festive Christmas Dinner & Quiz Night. The events team at the Maryculter have worked hard to offer us this special evening during the hotels businest season.
Special guest Jeff Diack from Radio North Sound is our Quiz Master for added hilarity and much needed impartiality! Breakfast presenter Jeff is a massive petrolhead (so much so he decided on a whim to learn to drive buses!) and you can expect a good mix of quiz topics from Cars to Christmas!
Entry to the Quiz will be in teams of 4. Don't worry about getting your teams arranged ahead of time - we're sure there will be plenty of time over dinner to scope out your weakest links!
Prizes for the winners will include a keepsake trophy (to lord over your friends and family) as well as a goodie bag for each team member!

The cost for the evening is £60pp, with the option to book a hotel room (Bed & Breakfast) for £75 per room.

The schedule for the evening is as follows:
6.30pm - Gather at the bar before dinner
7pm - Dinner
8.45pm - Quiz Master Jeff Diack starts the Quiz
As an optional extra - why not arrive early to the hotel and enjoy afternoon cream tea for an extra £5pp (pre-booking required).
