CANCELLED Porsche in the Glen

UNFORTUNATELY, PORSCHE IN THE GLEN 2020 HAS BEEN CANCELLED. WE ARE IN CONTACT WITH THE ORGANISERS, SHOULD THEY REARRANGE.

Please read the following message passed on from Brian Wood, R1 PCGB member and PITG organiser.

"We take pleasure ininviting you to the 9th annual "Porsche in the Glen" event at Calderglen Country Park, Strathaven Road, East Kilbride, Glasgow, G75 0QZ on Sunday 17th May, 2020 from noon until 4pm.

Due to the overwhelming interest in this event (the largest gathering of Porsches seen in Scotland with numbers nearing 180 cars), we are asking owners to be on site well before 12 o'clock to guarantee a space. Any cars arriving after this time may not get a suitable space or access to the show area. To assist with health and safety, owners are asked to remain parked until completion of the prize giving at 3.30pm. Anyone unable to remain parked until this time is still welcom to attend. However, you will be asked to park in the nearby public car park.

A welcome pack will be issued on arrival and will include your yellow wristband, identifying you as a Porsche owner/enthusiast on the day. The wrist band gives you FREE entry to the Conservatory and Zoo, together with an agreed 20% discount off food and drink at the Courtyard Cafe. It also lets others know you are part of the show. An offical Porsche in the Glen will be given to all attending Porsche Owners.

Trade partners are still to be confirmed. However, we are hoping to have as in previous years, support from Angelwax, Porsche Glasgow, Police Scotland and Knockhill Racing Circuit. Prizes will includ "Best in Show" and "Owners Choice" Awards.

We look forward to welcoming you along on the day and having your support for the event.
