5 January 2020

R2 New Year run and walk

Happy New Year!

Now that all the celebrations are out the way - why not let Porsche Club help kickstart those 2020 New Year resolutions? Join us on a brisk and bracing walk up Scolty Hill, near Banchory.

On Sunday 5 January, meet us at the Falls of Feugh car park at 11am and get ready to dust off the cobwebs. Whether you've overdone it on the booze or the Christmas pudding, get your walking boots on and detox! Bring a picnic and enjoy lunch with a view!

We will begin by admiring the beautiful Falls of Feugh before convoying up to the Scolty Hill Woodland Car Park (trust us, you'll want to save your energy!). There is a small charge for using the Woodlands carpark - a service fee for the upkeep of the track.

Please note: public toilets are available only at the meeting point - no loos closer to the walk.

From the Woodland carpark we will take the high road up Scolty Hill. The track underfoot is well trodden, however can be steep in places. The veiws across Aberdeenshire are not to be missed - especially if you climb the Tower (if you have any puff left after the climb that is!). If the weather is kind, we can enjoy our picnics on the hill before heading back to down.

Walking boots are advised, as well as warm, waterproof clothing. Remember this is January - so if the weather looks bad we may postpone. (Porsches are not a requirement for this event)

As always, let us know if you would like to come along by emailing r2@porscheclubgb.com

Let us help you unlock the potential of your Porsche
