Just before we took the decision to shut up shop, Graham Saul, who is a Region 5 Member, came along to our March Club Night to give us an insight to his varied involvement with cars. Graham showed us over fifty photographs of his cars – first introducing us to his road cars, then telling us about his involvement in building race cars and going on to manage racing teams, as well as helping with the building of some really powerful race engines. Graham’s major connection with Porsche is in the form of his 928 GTS race car, which makes regular appearances at Oulton Park and Anglesey.
During almost an hour’s insight to Graham’s cars’ details and stories of his experiences (we’re sure he could have gone on for much longer), yet again he gave us one of our most memorable Club Nights – when a Member comes along to share his personal involvement with cars, so a huge thank you to Graham for engrossing us with your hobby.
