Our informal Christmas get-together for the December Club Night saw four
highly competitive teams battling it out for the winning slot in what has
become a regular event in the Region 5 calendar.
As is customary, Bill Keddie acting as quizmaster, put together a range of
questions – this year for those with specialist subjects in both sweets, and
photographs of parts of cars. As usual, some answers were quickly delivered
but quite a few were not so obvious, until of course when Bill revealed the
answer.
Unsurprisingly, there were no perfect scores, but the team again including
Matt Staines achieved the most correct answers. So, congratulations to the
winning team, and thanks to all for taking part.
A big thank you to Bill Keddie for putting together the friendly and
entertaining quiz, and to the Deanwater for serving the tea, coffee and
mince pies – a great way to conclude another successful year for R5.
