Just for a change, we thought we would have a summer supper of lasagne for our August Club Night, instead of our usual tasty and plentiful Hot Pot Supper. It so happened that the weather turned cold and we could have done with the hotpot. However, an update on the Club’s organisation, it’s strategy and future direction was given, followed by some Q&A’s – which proved interesting for the sixty-or-so new and the not-so-new Members present. Forty-four servings of the Deanwater’s Lasagne with salad dish were consumed by those who had not eaten beforehand, following which a great atmosphere ensued, making it a most enjoyable social evening
