Our Region has the best driving roads in the country and here you will find a selection of routes along with descriptions that you can use either whole or as inspiration.

York - Helmsley - Stokesley - Blakey Ridge

This route has some stunning driving roads, the Helmsley - Stokesley being known locally as the Northern Nurburg Ring.  Blakey Ridge is an incredible road with breath taking views, often used on Top Gear and in Evo magazine.  The Lion Inn on top is a great place to stop for a drink and food.

Malton - Whitby

This route forms the basis of our annual Fish & Chip run and covers some great driving roads and provides stunning views across the Yorkshire Moors National Park.  The route directions contain two routes, the high road via Blakey Ridge and the Low Road.

Yorkshire Wolds Wander Tulip Route

This tulip route takes in the stunning Yorkshire Wolds via some very quiet and remote roads.  Some are narrow and little more than farm tracks, although all are good enough and smooth enough for all Porsches.

Yorkshire Dales Via Ribblehead

Head out to Skipton and then follow the Settle - Carlisle rail to the Ribblehead viaduct, a beautiful place to stop, especially if you are lucky enough to be there whilst the Malard crosses.  Then head on to Hawes and Masham for lunch at the Black Sheep Brewery.
