Thirty-nine of us met upon a dreary, dull Saturday to enjoy the festivities at Hintlesham Hall, with many of us staying overnight.
We arrived early to relax and enjoy chatting to other members in the many lounges, all beautifully decorated for Christmas. Our bedrooms were huge, with some of us having four-poster beds and fireplaces, plus luxurious bathrooms.
At 6.45pm in our glad rags, we met up in the Library for aperitifs and canapés before entering our dining room for dinner. Dancing began and several of us retired to the lounges to relax and chat while the more activemembers took to the dancefloor. A great evening was had by all.
