The second R10 Rally, at the end of June, was much enjoyed by many Club members. Starting from Dove House Motor Company, it followed a marvellous route covering more than 70 miles. Once at the destination of Deene Park, members could visit the house and gardens.

In addition, those present were entered into a friendly Show and Shine judged by the Dove House team. The winners of the Show and Shine were as follows:
Best early water-cooled: Barry Barton (R10), 924S in Kalahari Metallic
Best air-cooled: Mark Grimwood (R10), 3.2 Carrera in Guards Red
Best late water-cooled: Frazier Cohen (R11), Cayman R in Peridot Green
Overall winner: Glyn Morgan (R11), Cayman R in White
