March Drive of the Month (DOTM) will take us to Allon White Sports Cars, one of the UK's longest established Morgan sports car dealers and an official Lotus Service Centre. Based in Cranfield, Allon White will service or repair any Morgan, Lotus or other classic sports car and undertakes full restorations on Morgans and Lotus. In their coach trimming workshop, they manufacture, fit, repair and restore interior trim and hoods for all makes and models of car.
This event is one of Allon White’s monthly Saturday Breakfast Clubs, which have become a popular place to catch up on all things motoring and MSCC (Morgan Sports Car Club) Overseas Liaison Officer, John Donovan, will be speaking. John has owned the same Morgan Plus 8 for many years and taken it to the farthest flung reaches of Europe, travelling in all weathers without a hood! He will be entertaining us with a resume of his travels - the good times and the challenges.
Bacon rolls, tea, coffee and chocolate biscuits are served from 9:30am, though as it's a breakfast not a brunch club, arrive early or the food will be gone!
For those that wish to continue on the DOTM, we will travel an hour on Bedfordshire roads to lunch at an excellent gastropub.
