Our August event is one that I confidently feel is unique among all the Club Regions - dinner on another island.
We took an evening ferry to the island of Herm which is three miles to the east of St Peter Port and had a table booked on the terrace of the White House Hotel, looking back at Guernsey. The island has its own on microclimate is a popular destination all year round with views that could be easily mistaken for the Caribbean.
