Sunday meet
I was surprised to learn that April marked our first event since the Christmas lunch; however, we have been delayed by, amongst other things, ‘Lockdown 2’. Some of us have also met during previous car events.

It was therefore gratifying to see a great turnout of Porsches except for one idiot who turned up in Caterham (‘Ian, you brought the wrong car!’). In my defence the GT4 had a nail in the rear tyre. What a great line-up it was for our first meeting - the 718 Boxster Spyder of Stefan Cloete; 911 2.2S of returning member Pierre Payne; the 991 GTS Cab of Andy Best; and the 986 Boxster, 996 Carrera, 997 Turbo and 996 C4S of stalwarts Roy Carré, Mike Jehan, Paul Sheward and Brad Faye, respectively.
