Collecting Cars returns to Bicester Heritage with a bang

Club members are invited to join the Scramblers and Collecting Cars at Bicester Heritage for their second Scramblers ‘evening with’ event, this time focusing on 75 years of Porsche and 60 years of the Porsche 911.
 
The “Scramblers X Collecting Cars: Porsche 911 @ 60” event will take place on Friday, 19 May in the commanding Hangar 113, the evening before Collecting Cars takes over Bicester Heritage for another huge Coffee Run.
 
Porsches will take centre stage right in the heart of the hangar on the Friday night, with your examples lining up behind other special cars from Stuttgart.
 
You’ll hear from car journalist, Top Gear presenter, Collecting Cars podcast host and serial Porsche owner Chris Harris, plus a special guest or two that may well bring some major trophy winning kudos to proceedings.
 
They will be quizzed about Porsche, on and off track and much more, by Nick Trott, former editor of evo and Motor Sport and founding partner of Bicester Heritage resident Twenty Seven Works. Nick also hosted the Le Mans evening with David Brabham, Peter Stevens and Steve Soper last June.
 
To kick off the night, after you've grabbed your free BBQ food and Wriggly Monkey Brewery beer (or soft drink), there will also be a mini Collecting Cars live podcast with Edward Lovett and guests.
