It was great to be back at Hedingham Castle on Sunday, 25 September for the return of Porsche Classics at the Castle. Beautiful blue skies helped created the perfect backdrop to the magnificent collection of Porsches on display, celebrating 50 years of the 911 Carrera RS 2.7.
A colourful display of around 20 RS 2.7 lined up in front of the castle giving Porsche enthusiasts the chance to commemorate the iconic anniversary.
Famous Porsche racing driver Gijs Van Lennep was in attendance giving individuals the opportunity to meet him. During the event Lennep was reunited with his race winning, fully restored, Martini Porsche Carrera RSR, after nearly 50 years since he won the last Targa Florio race in 1973.
