An update on Porsche Club GB events

Physical events remain on hold due to Covid-19 restrictions

The latest issue of Porsche Post is due to start landing with many Club members from today and your copy may even have arrived with you already. Please be aware that due to resourcing issues and associated self-isolation, there are disruptions to the Royal Mail service in a number of areas. More information on affected postcodes can be found here.

At the time that this issue went to print, we had hoped we would be in a position to announce and open bookings for our first events to celebrate the Club’s 60th anniversary. Unfortunately it is looking increasingly unlikely that restrictions will have been lifted to allow Club members from all Regions to be able to attend, or for events to take place that would run to a standard our members would expect.

Because of the large numbers of people that would be attending PCGB events and the negative attention this could draw, the decision has been made that we will not be hosting physical events until June 2021. This is a fluid situation and a decision which will be under constant review.

This does not affect our trackdays, which are taking place without spectators until further notice, or race meetings for our Championships, which are governed by Motorsport UK. The date for our trackday at Croft has been moved to 23 June since Porsche Post was sent to print.

Where possible any national events affected by Covid-19 restrictions will be postponed and re-scheduled for an appropriate date.

We are sorry for any upset this may cause and will continue with our series of virtual events, details of which can be found here. If your copy of Porsche Post has not yet arrived, you can read a digital copy here.

Thank you to our members for their continued support during these challenging times.
