Pikes Peak International Hill Climb

Three privateer Porsches go head-to-head on the world’s toughest hillclimb.

The final weekend in August witnessed a titanic battle between three veterans of their discipline aboard three near-identical cars. The 98th staging of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb brought together a new 935 and two 911 GT2 RS Clubsports, the car on which the 935 is based, in Colorado’s infamous and historic mile-high Race to the Clouds.

The men in the hot seats were David Donohue, son of Mark and previous class winner and record holder, eight-time class winner Jeff Zwart and three-time overall winner David Donner, all of whom have campaigned 911s in the event on numerous occasions.
