Festival of Porsche returns to Brands Hatch

Discounted tickets and infield parking now available for Club members

Festival of Porsche returns to Brands Hatch on 6 September with a special celebration of Germany’s most iconic sports car manufacturer, complete with racing, demonstrations and display parking for Club members.

Racing will be headlined by our very own Race Championship with its eclectic range of race-prepared machinery. The star machines will be production-based Porsches from the recent past headed up by the 997 C2S.

The Porsche Classic Boxster Cup made up exclusively of the 986 Boxster 3.2S will be enjoying their own grid with two individual races, whilst the rest of the on-track race content will be confirmed in the near future.

Demonstrations from significant cars will celebrate the marque's legendary on-track history, particularly in sports car and GT racing, whilst Club members will take to the circuit for special parades too.

Tickets are now on sale with Club members able to take advantage of a discounted rate of £15 per person, which includes one infield display parking pass for your Porsche. With space for up to 950 Porsches early booking is strongly recommended to avoid disappointment.

This year’s Festival of Porsche will be the first since a hugely well received 2018 event which featured Le Mans winner and Porsche factory driver Nick Tandy lap the Indy circuit in the stunning 919 Hybrid Evo. The exact theme and special celebrations for this year’s event are set to be announced in the coming weeks and months.

Porsche Club GB Events and Motorsport Manager, Mandy Sear, said: “We’re excited to be returning to Brands Hatch for what is set to be another fantastic Festival of Porsche. This event will be another highlight in our already jam-packed events calendar and it’s great to combine traditional displays with our Club Motorsport Championships. After such a great attendance in 2018 we’re looking forward to welcoming even more members and Porsche enthusiasts this September.”

Margareta Mahlstedt, General Manager, Marketing at Porsche Cars GB added: “The Festival of Porsche has become a highlight of the Porsche Club GB calendar since it began, and together with MSV has grown in recent years to become a ‘must-see’ event for all enthusiasts of Porsche.  The breadth of personalities and icons from the rich history of our company that typically gather help to bring the magic of Porsche alive, entertaining and exciting new and current generations of fans. Much of our success is driven by this deep passion for Porsche, but celebrating our achievements is more than simply remembering our past; the lessons learned are fundamental in helping shape our future.”

MSV Motorsport Events Manager, David Willey, added: “I’m delighted that the Festival of Porsche will return to Brands Hatch in 2020. This special celebration of the iconic motorsport manufacturer was hugely popular last time we ran it and I’m sure that we’ll be able to put together another superb event with Porsche Club GB. I’m really looking forward to September and welcoming the Club’s membership as well as other car enthusiasts to the venue.”
