We would like to wish all Club members a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

We would like to take this opportunity to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
 
Our first series of virtual events for the new year are already planned and you’ll find details of these below. Don’t forget that if you’ve missed any of our previous online presentations, many of them are available for you to watch again here.
 
I’m sure we’re all looking forward to a more normal year in 2021. The Clubhouse team and Board of Directors have been working closely together to ensure that our anniversary year is memorable one. Have a wonderful festive season, and thanks for all you’ve done and contributed, to ensure the ongoing success of our Club.
 
Please be aware that the office will be closed from midday on Christmas Eve until Monday 4 January.
 

Exploring EVs with The Car Show Guys – 6 January



In the second show from The Car Show Guys, the team will be asking the question “Will my next favourite car be electric?”. Their industry experience has taught them that most concerns potential EV owners have fall into three categories – all of which will be explored covering everything from understanding batteries to net neutral manufacturing.

The Perfect Fit with Pirelli – 13 January


 
Pirelli would like to invite Porsche Club GB members to join them for their first virtual event of the new year on Wednesday 13 January from 7pm to 8pm. Members can enjoy a virtual tour of the Pirelli Performance Centre depot and a talk from a Pirelli Technical Expert on Pirelli’s Perfect Fit philosophy and tyre technologies.

An Evening with Jürgen Barth – 20 January



A legend of Porsche and sports car racing, Jürgen Barth will be joining Club members for an exclusive virtual evening on Wednesday 20 January. Throughout his time with Porsche, Barth remained intrinsically involved with the development of Porsche’s motorsport campaigns and their customer racing programme. His encyclopaedic knowledge of the cars he contested made him a valuable asset to the developing Porsche archive.
