The Sunday Times last night awarded the latest generation 911 with its top prize of 'Car of the Year' at the annual Motor Awards ceremony in London.
The Motor Awards runs across the Sunday Times, The Times, The Sun and talkSPORT radio, and recognises automotive excellence across the industry. A poll of readers and listeners drew a shortlist of finalists, and the motoring correspondents from The Sunday Times then judged the 911 to be its 'Car of the Year'.
The judges commented that: "For anyone seeking an extraordinary breadth of ability in one car, the Carrera S is hard to beat" concluding that the Porsche 911 is "absolutely and completely brilliant".
