A celebration of KG-badged Porsches

Last weekend saw our ‘KG’ event rolled out for the first time at Goodwood. Some 250 guests and 130 cars made it to the circuit on Saturday, with a colourful line-up ranging from perfect pre-A 356s to the rare 2.4-litre 911S and highly prized Carrera 2.7 RS.

Cars came from the farthest corners of the country to be there, and in some cases even crossed the channel, arriving bright and early for a typically relaxed agenda that saw hot laps throughout the day and an organised parade around the track with over 100 cars driving nose-to-tail in the balmy Sussex sunshine.

At the head of this field was guest of honour Rod Emory, who drove one of his own 356 Outlaws before meeting members and taking part in an autograph session. The event was capped off with a successful barbecue at The Kennels and an informal talk with Rod and good friend Jürgen Barth, expertly hosted by Porsche Post contributor Nick Trott.

Many thanks to everyone who supported the event. We look forward to seeing even more of you next year.

In the meantime, you can enjoy even more photos from the event here.
