Porsche Club has just returned from a fantastic three days at the 2018 NEC Classic Motor Show which saw more than 100 new members welcomed to the Club.
The Club’s display featured 9 member-owned Porsches as well as both the Club’s 1960 356 and much more recent 356 coffee speedster which was kept busy throughout the event!
One of the highlights of the Club stand and in fact the show was the 904 Carrera GTS, proudly displayed at the front of the stand. Arguably one of Ferdinand “Butzi” Porsche’s most beautiful creations the 904 marked Porsche’s return to sports car racing.
Porsche Cars GB were out in force at this year’s show with a series of head-turning restorations, all beautifully finished in a special ‘Liquid Metal’ paintwork along with additional bespoke touches.
15 of the Restoracing 986 Boxsters, prepared and raced by Porsche Centres from around the country meant some of Porsche’s most loved liveries were present for the special 70 year anniversary display.
