As many members will be aware, Jen Doran is moving on from Cornbury House to pursue a new job opportunity.
Jen has run the Club’s shop so very diligently at events up and down the country for the past six years. At Cornbury House she has been a very important member of the Club office team and over time her role has become very broad indeed.
Jen is extremely popular amongst the Club’s membership and she will be a very hard act to follow. The Cornbury House staff and Board of Directors would like to wish Jen all the very best for the future and thank her for the wonderful contribution she has made to the organisation.

Jen’s departure means there is an opportunity for a new member of staff to join the Cornbury House team.
The purpose of the role is manage the organisation’s retail procurement and sales at Club Office and attend events throughout the UK. Furthermore, to liaise with the General Manager to ensure that key sales objectives are met. There is considerable weekend work involved with this role.
The key areas are:
• Manage the organisation’s retail procurement and sales
• Attend and manage the company’s sales at events during the year
• Drive online sales through promotions
• Manage stock levels and make key decisions about control
• Analyse sales figures and forecast future sales
• Create and maintain budgets
• Liaise with suppliers to deliver products which members request
• Assist with general office management, including: ordering of office consumables
• Answering e-mails and dealing with member queries
