The road-run will begin at the Region’s monthly meeting venue ‘The Sharnbrook Hotel & Vesuvio Restaurant’ off the A6 in Bedfordshire before weaving a scenic 57-mile route through 24 villages & beautiful countryside throughout the three surrounding Counties.
Details of the route will be provided on the day as a tulip map route book.
Arrival
Breakfast will be available between 7.30 and 9.00 for those who have pre-booked it. We would recommend all participants arrive no later than 8.15, ahead of a 8.30 driver briefing. It is anticipated the first Porsche will depart at 9.00.
Halfway Point
At the halfway point, participants are to park in the marshalled, designated parking area and collectively head to the Canal Museum to board ‘Charlie’ for a 26-minute canal boat ride to the Blisworth Tunnel and back.
After this excursion, please continue on the remainder of the tour, returning to The Sharnbrook Hotel & Vesuvio Restaurant where there will be a designated, marshalled parking area.
