Extended Factory visit and tour

Full Tour to Bavaria, Austria and Stuttgart.

This extended tour to the Stuttgart museum and factory also includes visits to the The Sinsheim Collection, Hans-Peter Porsche visitor centre, Hangar 7 Red Bull Centre at Salzburg and Pfeifhofer Porsche Museum to name just a few.

This captivating tour takes in the wonderful mountain ranges of the Salzburger Land where Porsche originated. During this time visitors will enjoy supper in the Eagles Nest in Berchtesgaden, climb the Grossglockner Pass, take lunch in the Porsches’ hometown of Gmund, visit the largest model railway in Europe built by Hans Peter Porsche, wander around Salzburg if you wish and soak in the atmosphere of one of the most enchanting landscapes in the world.

In a change to previous years, the tour will visit Stuttgart on the return leg of the journey. Having driven several hundred kilometers in the day and stopped off for one of the optional visits to break the journey you will check into the Nestor Hotel in the attractive small town suburb of Ludwigsburg north of Stuttgart and close to the plant.

The next day it is time to head for the Holy Grail – Zuffenhausen, where Porsche has been based since the late forties after the family returned to the city from its home in Austria. Prepare yourself for a full day immersed in the marque, from the futuristic Museum full of a constantly changing series of historic cars then an afternoon in the factory seeing 911s, Caymans and Boxsters on the line in the crowded three tier production plant – a miracle of machines and systems to make it work.

Also on the site is a leading Porsche Centre, a Museum shop full of unique items only obtainable there, and of course, a Porsche Drivers Selection shop.

The price of the full trip is £1350 for an individual and £1225 per person for a shared room. The prices are provisional at present in view of the volatility of the pound / euro. If there is a pricing change you will be informed before making the final commitment to the trip.
